This is what I enjoy the most... complex 3D animation, video, compositing and special effects for video & DVD projects.
My most recent activity in designing presentations, web sites and other interactive and electronic multimedia.
25 years spent designing logos, brochures, direct mail and other items for printed communications on paper.
See how it all started for me with my exploits as a traditional artist in the medium of acrylic paints on canvas.

All things change

One of the few things in life that remain constant is "change." As you can see above, my interests in the field of graphic arts has changed a lot over the years. With my roots strongly set in traditional fine arts, primarily in the style of "realism", I built a good foundation in the fundamentals of color theory, lighting, perspective and attention to detail. However, times change, technologies emerge and better ways to do things evolve.

Well, sometimes not better, just more efficient. In order to "make a living" in the field of graphic arts I quickly found that the entrance of the computer into the playing field was going to change the way I did things forever. Not only could I do things more quickly and generate more revenue, but I could now do things I had never dreamed of before.

From building electronic page layouts on a Macintosh for the print industry, to developing interactive Flash applications and ultimately 3D animations and video on the PC platform, graphics would now become more a part of our lives than many of us had previously thought possible.

Now, virtually everything that we see and/or communicate was generated as an electronic file on someone's PC somewhere. My challenge now is to keep up with the technology and try to make those electronic files as effective as possible while striving for the most aesthetically pleasing and potentially entertaining results that I can come up with. As the computer continues to evolve into an extension of the creative mind, who knows what will be possible for the artist of the future?
